If you have a minute to spare, drop whatever you are doing and head to your socials.

Amerado is trending, and it’s not because he released a new song or music video. Delay hinted only a few hours ago that she is not hitched to anyone.

This is how fans reacted…

Barely weeks ago, news broke that Amerado and Delay were seeing each other. Both of them teased, and let people say whatever they thought of the rumoured relationship.

Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, known by the stage name Amerado, is a Ghanaian rapper from Kumasi. He is the curator of Yeete Nsem, Ghana’s first newscasting rap series.

Amerado was born on February 14, 1995 (Age 26 years).

Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as “Delay”, is an entrepreneur, television and radio show host, producer, public speaker and Women’s Advocate in Ghana.

Delay was born on June 24, 1982 (Age 39 years).

In math, that’s a difference of 13 years. In other words, Delay was a teenager when Amerado was born.

At first blush, many criticized the dating rumours. But it was not in their place to author the love life of two consensual adults.

And now it is feared that maybe it was all meant to entertain Ghanaians.

Ghanaians did have a swell time while this lasted. To console Amerado, we would leave him with these words, “Nam pa a, nnompe nnim dier, obiaa pe wae.”
