‘Whoever Sang this Song is Good’ – Nigerians Shower Praise on Black Sherif after Alexx Ekubo Posted Video Singing ‘Second Sermon’ Word-for-Word

Nigerians have showered praise on Ghanaian artiste Black Sherif after being introduced to his ‘Second Sermon’ banger.

Nollywood star Alexx Ekubo uploaded a video completely immersed in the song and singing it word-for-word.

Nigerians were enthralled with the song and started applauding Sherif even though many of them did not know him.

Ekubo posted the video singing to Sherif’s ‘Second Sermon’ remix featuring Burna Boy on his Instagram page.

Considering the recent tensions between Ghana and Nigeria sparked by block headed Shatta Wale, the Nollywood actor’s action was remarkable.

He could be seen jamming to Black Sherif’s single, reciting the lyrics word-for-word.

He did his best even when he missed some words, most notably when he screamed ‘Kweku Frinkong’ (Frimpong) during the song.

Reactions to his video have been largely positive.

Nigerians are hugely impressed with the single and are asking for the song’s title to find it and add to their playlists.

It seems Black Sherif is organically penetrating the Nigerian market and he did not even have to insult anyone.
