Ghana has definitely carved its niche as a tourist magnet for people living in the diaspora. In 2019, the country saw a surge in tourists looking to experience the history-rich west African country.
Obviously, this year was nothing compared to what we experienced nearly three years ago. However, festivals like Afrochella, Wildaland, Tribal and many other events in December 2021 attracted many more Africans living in the diaspora.
This year, it’s been exciting to witness two more of such adventurous tourists in the persons of the ever-beautiful Yandy Smith and husband, Mendeecees Harris of the ‘Love and Hip Hop‘ fame seize the opportunity to visit Ghana.

Love and HipHop is a media franchise that consists of many reality television series broadcast in the United States of America.
The cutest bit about this development is that they didn’t travel alone; they were accompanied by their beautiful children as seen in an Instagram post made by Mendeecees.
Thus, the American actor reiterated the importance of teaching the history of the motherland to our children after the family visited the Cape Coast Castle.
