A Ghanaian sakawa boy known as Anthony Mensah has been arrested in Trinidad and Tobago for credit card fraud.
43-year-old Anthony Mensah was picked up by police in St Augustine in possession of 14 bank cards for the purpose of trafficking.
He was arraigned before a court in Tunapuna, Trinidad on December 24th.
He was granted bail in the sum of $100,000.
Anthony Mensah was arrested on December 20th after being placed under surveillance for weeks.
The North Eastern Divison (NED) Gang and Intelligence Unit placed him under surveillance over suspicions he was engaging in fraudulent acts.
After his arrest, 14 bank cards were found with him along with other items.
He was charged on December 23rd and secured bail on December 24th.
He is expected back in court on April 1, 2022.
