This year ended on a good note for Nigerian musician Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun aka Wizkid.

The Essence hitmaker has become the first African artiste to ever win ‘Best African Act’ and ‘Best International Act’ in a single night at the MOBO Awards.

The 2021 MOBO awards (Music of Black Origin Awards) was held at the Coventry Building Society Arena in UK and was hosted by actress Leigh-Anne Pinnock and comedian and broadcaster Munya Chawawa.
