Ghanaians are currently agitated as social media has become quite chaotic after a woman who allegedly impersonated NPP’s MP Lawyer Adwoa Safo to help pass the 2022 budget has been fished out.

A video of a woman who allegedly impersonated Adwoa Safo in parliament has gone viral.

According to reports, a woman identified as Jacky Safo impersonated the Dome Kwabenya MP who was supposedly absent in parliament to help the NPP pass the 2022 budget which was initially rejected by the Minority.

The alleged impersonator is captured on camera with a face mask in the seat of Lawyer Adwoa Safo who apparently hadn’t arrived yet in Ghana or probably had been delayed after her long holidays abroad.

Social media users have observed that the demeanour of the woman was off as she was found just waving people from a distance and trying very hard to avoid talking.

Also, the same woman is seen at a point hurriedly storming out of parliament as Hon Kennedy Agyapong approached her.

According to the report, she didn’t wait for parliament to recess as she took her bag and stormed out of parliament just after the voting was over.

Social media users have claimed that the real Adwoa Safo won’t act as if she has a problem with her colleague NPP members when she had spent months outside Ghana and finally returned to parliament.

It’s a very critical and dicey situation but Hon Adwoa Safo has denied the allegation.

She clarified during the next sitting that she was parliament the previous day despite the huge difference between her and her alleged imposter.
