Police Give Hot Chase to Gospel Singer Ohemaa Jacky After Jumping Bail in her Fraud Case

The Ghana Police Service are hot on the heels of gospel singer and vlogger Ohemaa Jacky after jumping bail.

Ohemaa Jacky is currently on trial for alleged fraud and after being granted bail has now refused to appear for her court dates.

After missing a couple of court dates, the Accra Circuit Court hearing the case has ordered for her arrest.

Ohemaa has been declared wanted and a bench warrant issued for her arrest.

Ohemaa Jacky was arrested in September and placed in remand custody.

She was later charged with defrauding under false pretences after taking Ghc 150,000 from a market woman with claims she could secure her an Italian passport.

As we reported earlier, Jacky after taking the money forged two Italian passports and resident identity cards for the lady and her daughter.

However, the fake documents were discovered when she tried to travel with them and the lady was arrested.

She pointed police to Ohemaa Jacky and that led to her arrest.

Initially, police held her in remand but she was later granted bail.

Ohemaa Jacky has now failed to turn up for her scheduled court dates leading to a bench warrant being issued for her arrest.

Police are now hot on her heels and she could be rearrested anytime soon.
