Ghanaian Reggae superstar, Rocky Dawuni has made the country proud once again by gaining nominations at the 64th Academy Awards.
Rocky Dawuni has been nominated in the best Global Albums category for the 2022 Grammy Awards with his 2020 EP, the Voice Of BunBon, Volume 1.
He will be battling it out with talented. African musicians like Angelique Kodjo, Daniel Ho, Wizkid, and Femi Kuti.
The Best Global Albums award was won by Burna Boy last year in the 63rd edition of the awards.
It is a great deal for Ghanaians because they have been waiting for a Grammy recognition and award since Burna Boy got nominated twice and won last year.
Some brilliant talents in Ghana were compared and trolled for not gaining any Grammy nominations in their music career but we’re positive this will reduce now that Rocky Dawuni has done that twice.
