Becca Finally Speaks On Mother’s Allegations 10 Months After Her Death

Becca has found her voice and spoken to address certain rumors and allegations hanging in the media.

The talented singer has been slapped with a bad image after her biological mother, Julie Yiadom-Oti passed on in January this year and she was not seen at the burial service.

Before her death, Becca’s mother granted an interview with the founding editor of GhanaCelebrities.com Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri and brought out some ugly side of the singer.

In the interview, Becca’s mother revealed her daughter had cut her off because she was not in support of the marriage with Daniel Sanni Oluwatobi aka Tobi Sani.

After a long silence, Becca has granted an interview speaking on her personal life and issues that needed to be addressed.

According to Becca, she spent a large chunk of her proceeds from her first hit song on her biological family.

Becca said although she bought a few things for herself, she made sure her family, i.e her mother and siblings, felt good and okay irrespective of what has happened in the past.

Speaking in an interview on Angel TV, Becca said her song ‘You Lied To Me’ made her a fortune because it was a global hit and she spent that money on her family.

“Well, i bought a few things, for my family members. I barely spent a lot on myself. I was always about making sure people out there are okay. Aside from that, the first thing I bought as a property was my car.”

Rebecca Akosua Acheampong is a multiple award-winning Ghanaian singer famed across the continent as Becca.

Becca broke into stardom after she featured male vocalist Kwabena Kwabena on her hit song ‘You Lied To Me’.

Her music career took off like a rocket to space and she began gracing the stage with international acts and also winning awards.
