Ghana’s self-titled dancehall king Shatta Wale is the latest celebrity to have an encounter with the law. Shatta Wale reported himself to the police after he intentionally staged a prank that he was shot.
His stunt was based on fact that a doom prophet asserted that he will be shot by armed men on October 18, 2021.
Shatta Wale appeared before an Accra Circuit court today after spending two nights at the police cells for a verdict on his actions.
The musician and three other persons were denied bail and remanded to prison for a week after the court read his charges and listened to his plea.
