Fans have blasted her for not joining the free Shatta movement but rather claiming the system is working, with many interpreting it as her hate for Shatta Wale being manifested.
Serwaa is not the only celebrity who has reacted to the news.
Hiplife doyen, Reggie Rockstone claims he nearly had a heart attack when he saw publications that Shatta Wale has been shot and when he realized it was a hoax, he took to social media to tell the musician that he acted childish.
Samini on the other hand teased Shatta Wale for claiming to be a gangster but went into hiding when the police was searching for him.
He added that the Inspector General of Police must make an example off Shatta Wale to deter others from repeating his mistake.
Nothing has been heard from the camp of Stonebwoy and Sarkodie yet but an old Advice Sarkodie recorded for Shatta Wale has been trending since he was arrested.
In the song, Sarkodie told the dancehall musician to limit his tomfoolery because it will land him in trouble one day.
It is obvious he didn’t listen.
A security and safety analyst, Adam Bonaa has also called on the Ghana Police Service to prosecute Shatta Wale, adding that he is not popular and bigger than the late Tupac Shakur.
According to the security analyst, if global superstars like Tupac and others were prosecuted and jailed for misbehaving, celebrities like Shatta Wale who misbehave in Ghana must be prosecuted because they are not bigger than Tupac.
