The current state of President Akufo-Addo’s father’s house has shocked social media users as the building seems to be in a really bad state.

A video making rounds on social media capture where Akufo-Addo’s father, Edward Akufo-Addo who was a former President of Ghana had lived before he died.

Though the building has been painted nicely, its roofing is messy and rusty!

Also, there are things scattered in the house – gallons, bowls and other stuff are littered on the compound.

According to reports, that is where President Akufo-Addo’s father lived until he died. Akufo-Addo is reported to have lived there at a point in his life before becoming a President.

However, the house in Akuapem appears to be abandoned even though people live in it. Some level of maintenance is needed to save the image of the family.

Social media users have reacted after seeing the video. Many people have said that the building must be left how it is to serve as a tourist attraction to people.

Others also claim it’s normal because there are some Ghanaians who live in worse places than that.

Yet, there are still some people who believe Akufo-Addo’s father’s house deserves some sort of facelift for dignity sake.
