Gloria Akpene Nyarku-Acquah famed in the media space as MzGee has once again quit her working relationship with another media house.
The famous Ghanaian television and radio presenter has ended her work with Media General.
MzGee joined TV3 in 2019 after leaving Multimedia Ghana’s Joy News and Hitz FM.
She hosted Simply Showbiz, an entertainment show, on TV3 and Showbuzz on 3 FM during her two years stay with the media house.

MzGee’s resignation was confirmed in a statement signed by the Group Head, Corporate Affairs at the media house, Christopher Koney.
The statement revealed that the resignation will take effect from 25th October 2021.
“Management of the Media General Group wishes to announce the resignation of Gloria Akpene Nyarko popularly known as MzGee effective 25th October 2021,” the statement said.
It also highlighted how MzGee has contributed to the growth of the media house in her short stay, “MzGee has been a valuable addition to the Group and her contribution is appreciated. Management wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavours”.

Althought we cannot confirm entirely why she left, we are ably informed by sources close to MzGee that she is 50% ready for a new job and will soon be seen in other fields.
MzGee also took to her social media platforms to announce to her fans her intentions to quit and plans for a new future, which she describes as brighter.
“This is to express my profound gratitude to Media General for making my stay memorable. It has been another opportunity for tremendous growth. I truly appreciate the platforms granted me to give Gh and beyond great highlights!” she wrote in an Instagram post.
“But, it is now time to fly higher! May God be our guide in all our endeavours! See ya!” She ended her message.
