Owusu Bempah In Fresh Trouble As Police Slap Him With New Charges – Details

The NPP’s forsaken spiritual bulldozer, Rev Owusu Bempah is currently having a tough with the Ghana Police Service and the law court as he has been slapped with another fresh court charge.

It can be recalled that about three weeks ago, the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International was nabbed by the police with three others after storming the house of Nana Agradaa to threaten her with guns and cutlasses.

Although he was granted court bail after spending three days inside the police cells, the latest development from the whole saga has it that the controversial man of God has been slapped with new charges.

The prosecutor of the case has dropped the following charges “counts of offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace and threat of death” on Rev Owusu Bempah and two others.

The cases must be divided, according to the public prosecutor, in order to achieve an efficient and timely trial.

Rev Owusu Bempah and the two others who are in the persons of Bright Berchie and Mensah Ofori once again pleaded not guilty.

Following their consistent emotional plea, the Accra High Court gave the man of God a self-recognizance bail of $100,000 with two sureties.

The same conditions were given to Bright Berchie and Mensah Ofori. The three are supposed to appear before court again on November 10, 2021.
