Ghanaians have been hit with the death of veteran actor Kohwe. Mr Kofi Laing, popularly known as Kohwe passed on Thursday evening, September 16th 2021.
According to his daughter, Comfort Laing, Kowhe died in the house.
About a month ago, a photo of the veteran actor looking very frail popped up on social media.
Kowhe was seen sitting on a gentleman in a health facility seeking medical care.
According to reports, Kohwe suffered a stroke for some time before his death.
Aside from battling for his health, the actor was financially burdened and begged for help several times before his death.
In one of his interviews, Kohwe pleaded with Ghanaians to support him financially and not wait after his death before he received a grand burial from loved ones.
However, he was not lucky enough as people turned deaf ears to his pleads. But report flying around on social media reveals that former President Mamaha was taking care of Kohwe and was supporting him financially.
A video sighted by GhanaCelebrities.Com shows moment Mahama sent a colleague actor, Mr Beautiful to Kohwe to deliver an amount of cash and some food items to him.

According to reports, Mahama normally visits Kohwe every 3 months and that was the latest visit to him.
