Words could not explain how veteran actor Psalm Adjetefio was feeling when he held Ghc50,000 cash in his hands earlier today.
The money came from the vice president of Ghana Dr. Bawumia as fulfillment of the pledge he made to the actor days ago.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia pledged to pay the rent of the actor for 5 years which costs Ghc30,000 and also give him some allowance of Ghc20,000 for his upkeep.
Yesterday, Lawyer Krobea Kwabena Asante disclosed on his Facebook page that “Dr Bawumia has paid 6 months renewable for the next 5 years (30k) for TT and has also given TT 20k for upkeep. In all, he gave TT 50k this morning,”
Videos have surfaced capturing moments when the personal aid to the Vice President handed over bundles of cash to the actor to help help cater for his rent as promised.
The actor broke down in tears and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Veep. He also revealed that he has never held such a huge amount of money in his life before.

Ghanaians are still discussing why a man who claims to be poor rents an apartment beyond his financial capacity.
While some accused TT of mismanaging his money in his prime, some defended that the actor amassed riches when he was on top of his game but was diagnosed with a heart condition and that drained his wealth.
