A U.S-based Ghanaian lady, Maame Ewusi-Mensah has been appointed by the U.S President, Joe Biden as a judge.
The 44-year-old of Ghanaian descent, Maame Ewusi-Mensah has been appointed to serve at the Central District Court of California.
Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah apparently is the only black female judge in all the four California District Courts.
Maame Ewusi-Mensah holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Harvard University. She completed it in 1997.
She has served as a law clerk for Judge Stephen Reinhardt of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit after graduating as Juris Doctor from Yale Law School in 2001.

Moving from the United States Court of Appeals, Maame Ewusi-Mensa proceeded to work as an associate at Morrison & Foerster from 2002 to 2007.
Maame Ewusi-Mensah is a 44-year-old lady born to Ghanaian parents; Kwaku Ewusi-Mensah and Theodora Ewusi-Mensah.
