Two young but brave boys are receiving applause and accolades on social media after a video of them saving a grown man from drowning in a flood surfaced online.
It had rained heavily and volumes of water was rushing off at top speed, dragging along everything in its way.
A Taxi Driver was unfortunately caught in the flood water and was struggling to save his life.

The man managed to get out of the vehicle that had capsized due to the force of the rushing water.
He stood on the car looking for a way to swim across the flood water to safety then adrenaline set in so he jumped into the water without thinking twice.
People in the community stood at the bank of the water, watching helplessly while all this was happening.

The taxi driver lost his balance after jumping into the rushing flood water and was being carried away but two brave teenagers identified as Isreal Ackar (13 years) and Antwi Chrisman (16 years) took off from among the gathered crowd and went to save him.
They run to the edge of the bank, laid down and stretched their hands to grab the man from the river.

The video was shared on social media and many began tagging the young boys as real life heroes for saving another man’s life.
Many are calling on the President of Ghana to honor the boys with some form of appreciation to encourage others to exhibit such selflessness and bravery.
A photo of the boys was also shared on Twitter by Bright Kankam Boadu, who wrote in his caption how proud he is to have met the boys.
