Actress Fancy Acholonu has subtly confirmed swirling rumours that she left Alex Ekubo because he’s gay.
The actress in her statement announcing her departure managed to slip in there a sentence which all but confirms those rumours.
The dream engagement of the Nollywood lovebirds turned into ash when Acholonu announced their breakup out of the blue.
The two had a dream proposal, in Los Angeles, California; and had been having a great time and made everyone anticipate their great wedding in November.

But Fancy had apparently had enough and called everything off in the past few days.
She initially blocked Alex on all social media platforms then deleted their joint wedding page.
She followed that up with a statement announcing their wedding was off.
Before she had even spoken, the rumours had intensified that she left Alex because he’s gay.
Fancy seemed to confirm these rumours in her statement.
She mentioned that she wants to break up so that everyone can ‘live their truth’.
That is as clear a reference to Alex’s s*xuality as anyone is going to get.
She wrote: “Hey guys, I am writing to inform you all officially that I have ended my relationship, engagement and I have called off the wedding with Alexx Ekubo.

“I am aware that this may be a shock to many people. I made the best decision for myself, because it is important that everyone finds their happiness and live in their truth.

Meanwhile, Alex Eubo has been spotted chilling with I.K Ogbonna after his painful breakup.
Believe it or not, Ogbonna has been accused of being his ‘partner in the past!
