Former AMG gang member currently domiciled in a U.S prison, Showboy, has warned the youth to stay away from crime.

Showboy is celebrating his birthday today and as he’s stuck in jail, he has nothing to eat apart from what he’s served.

The prison authorities had nothing special for him despite being his birthday, they just fed him with bread and groundnut paste.

Showboy, who doesn’t sound like he’s having the worst time in prison, filmed himself enjoying his bread and groundnut paste and cried to the camera.

He said if he was out he would have found a way to treat himself to some fried rice or jollof rice but since he’s in jail he has no option than to eat this dry food.

Showboy, therefore, advised the youth to stay from crime so they don’t end up like him.

Born Sam Safo, Showboy is a Ghanaian musician and entertainer domiciled in the United States of America.

He is currently serving a 6-year jail term for stabbing and killing fellow Ghanaian Junior US in a scuffle.

Showboy is always telling us how he’s suffering in jail but the man always has access to phones and the internet to post and comment on current affairs in Ghana.

He can even stream himself eating his birthday meal.

His life doesn’t seem too bad compared to many Ghanaians – that’s the difference in the two systems.
