King Sark has angered many Ghanaians with a statement he agreed to on one of his media tours in Nigeria.
Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie was in the studios of Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos on August 19, 2021 for his No Pressure Album promo and listening.
During the interview at the studio, the award winning rapper was asked a very sensitive question about the Ghanaian music industry and Sarkodie gave an answer that surprised many.
The Nigerian presenter, Osi Suave, opined that Ghanaians have not celebratedSarkodie enough considering his enormous contribution to Ghanaian and African music.
Suave went on to make a comparison on how Nigerian artistes are hailed for the little they do and how Ghanaians still expect the unachievable from their icons.
Playing it smart, King Sark kept quiet for the greater part of the comparison between the celebration of Nigerian artistes vs Ghanaian artistes but concurred when he was asked his opinion.
Fans of Sarkodie have expressed disappointment in his stance on the issue saying he is being ungrateful.
