Troublesome celebrity Adu Safowaa has taken shots at Yvonne Nelson for trying to raise money from Ghanaians to support someone who is already rich beyond measure.
According to her, how can you raise funds for someone who has everything?
Actress Yvonne Nelson and the failed musician Chase Forever have started a Go Fund Me account to raise $20,000 for Beverly Afaglo.
Afaglo, the wife of Ghanaian musician Choirmaster, has lost her accommodation after her house burnt down Monday night.
She says she lost everything in the fire – clothes, jewellery, shoes, bags etc.
She and her celebrity friends are now begging Ghanaians to donate to help her out – first by releasing a Mobile Money number and a bank account and then the Go Fund Me page.
Ghanaians are left wondering how two celebrities who brag about being so rich now need money after just one tragedy?
As we’ve reported, Beverly Afaglo in the past claimed that her father was a very rich chief who left her multiple properties which she rents out. She also claimed both she and her husband are rich.
So the simple question is – how can you ask poor Ghanaians to help a rich person just because of one tragedy?
That’s the question Adu Safowaa is asking this morning on Instagram.
She wrote: “Who are those raising funds and for what? How do you raise funds for someone who claims to have everything? Everyone has WAHALA. Who should go rebuild someone’s family home? Stop pls!”
She added: “This can be done among friends or family…. Not social media ….. Some of us sacrifice for about 5 people in our dm almost every week. Work hard aaaa , people will be chasing celebrity tag… hmmm boi. People re suffering in here… So u guys should make us Think 🤔”
