Eminem’s Ex-wife Kim Scott Hospitalized After Another Suicide Attempt

Rapper Eminem’s ex-wife Kim Scott was hospitalized after she allegedly attempted suicide in her Michigan home.

Most people who listen to Eminem are familiar with the name Kim, as their toxic relationship has been the inspiration for most of the angst in his music.

Eminem’s depiction of her proves to be accurate. Kim Scott had a difficult childhood and got introduced to drugs at a young age and has not been able to shake the habit. The two met when they were both just teenagers and have had a tumultuous relationship since then, albeit have three children together.

Kim Scott’s recent suicide attempt is not her first flirtation with death. She has tried to end her life on more than a few occasions.

Her first known attempt was in July 2000 after watching Eminem perform his song titled “Kim”. The lyrics to “Kim” are pretty intense and graphic and knowing one’s lover fantasizes about murdering them is enough to drive anyone off the edge.

The couple got divorced after that in 2001 but re-married in 2006. During the split, she battled mental issues and resorted to substance abuse.

In October 2015 she chased some prescription pills with a lot of rum and drove into a telephone pole on purpose, earning her a few broken bones and a concussion. Kim has been arrested a lot of times for possessing drugs.

The cause of her recent attempt is unknown, but reports say she had been bleeding from cuts inflicted by herself and got so violent it was difficult to restrain her. She was rushed to the hospital for evaluation but is currently back home recovering.
