I’m Done with Fix the Country Stuff – I Actually Value my Life – Efia Odo Says

Efia Odo a few months ago was all about fixing the country till she went on a break and came back with a whole different energy.

She only said she was going on a break because she wanted to focus on her mental health. The death of social media activist Kaaka might also have had an effect on her as she claims people blamed her for what happened to him, but it turns out there might be more to the story.

She has made a post on Twitter to suggest that she was getting threats for using her platform for the Fix The Country campaign. From the tone of the tweet, she seems scared to even voice her opinion about the rots in the system for fear of being attacked.

“Just read that airport workers haven’t been paid for 13 months. I’ll say fix the country but I’m afraid they’ll start threatening me again. People have fixed themselves by getting jobs but they aren’t getting paid. Such a shame!”, she tweeted.

If Efia Odo was really threatened for joining the campaign then it explains why when she came back from her hiatus, she basically dissociated herself from the movement and went back to her slaying ways, shocking everyone by flaunting her female lover.

She realized rather belatedly that fighting for Ghana is a thankless and fruitless venture, stating that they don’t care about us so we need to care about ourselves.
