Joyce Boakye was recently accused by Mona Gucci of being the one who stole scented candles from Nana Aba Anamoah’s birthday party.
In a bid to have one up on Joyce Boakye in their senseless beef, Mona Gucci leaked a recorded conversation of herself confronting Joyce about being the one who stole Nana Aba Anamoah’s candles.

Joyce vehemently denied the allegation and has been terribly upset with Mona Gucci ever since then, throwing shades at her at every provocation.
Joyce Boakye finally got the chance to sit in Delay’s hot seat and got the chance to react to Mona Gucci’s allegations. Delay, not one to beat about the bush, queried Joyce on the veracity of the claims that she was a petty candle thief.

She explained that she was not actually invited to the party but went in the company of a friend of Nana Aba’s. According to her, she did not even get close to the people at the party and that CCTV cameras were there to corroborate her claims.
Well, it is very believable that Joyce Boakye was intimidated by Nana Aba and her classy friends and knew better than to go and exhibit her village characteristics in their presence. She clearly wasn’t important enough to get an actual invite but had to go as someone’s plus one.
But of course, we do not expect her to admit that she did in fact steal the scented candles from Nana Aba. We hear her though.
