Sarkodie’s Statement that he only answers calls that are ‘important’ and sometimes ignore calls from even his biological mother has caused mixed reactions from the public.
Not one but about three industry players have complained bitterly about how Sarkodie intentionally ignores their calls and refuses to ring back.
Rapper Edem cried in one interview that Sarkodie made him lose a huge amount of money after refusing to answer his calls and failing to appear for a music video shoot for a song he was featured on.
Explaining what led to that incident, King Sark echoed in a recent interview that he now finds it difficult to answer calls unless it is an important business appointment that he needs to attend because he is famous.
He added that he sometimes ignore calls from his biological mother so celebrities complaining that he ghosts them should take it cool.
Sark’s response to the allegation had placed him in the bad books of many.
Radio presenter and Reggae musician Blakk Rasta is one of such people and he has described Sarkodie as an arrogant individual.
He labeled Sarkodie as self conceited and pride filled person who has forgotten his humble beginning.
The radio presenter stated emphatically on his Taxi driver show that there’s no way he will associate himself with Sarkodie because he is too arrogant for his liking.
He added that Sark will fall from his grace if he does not climb down from his high towers with his shoulders dropped because pride comes before the fall.
In a bid to humble Sarkodie, Blakk reminded his listeners how humble Sarkodie was when he was an underground rapper desperate to come up on top.
