We didn’t think bribery and corruption will be found in the holy house of God but a gospel musician has uncovered some rot that is ongoing in the Ghana National Gospel Music Awards.
Gospel musician Carl Clottey revealed in a radio interview that organizers of the Ghana National Gospel Music Awards have destroyed the scheme with bribery, corruption and extortion.
Carl Clottey, who had 5 nominations in the NGMA, revealed that he has been informed by some insiders that he risks going home with no award if he does not “do the needful”.
He added that he never expected bribery, corruption and extortion from the organizers of a Gospel awards.
His allegations were not treated with kids gloves as Peter Kwabena Dwobeng Sergio, one of the organizer for Ghana National Gospel Music Awards pushed him to substantiate what he’s saying with evidence.
The clash of Peter Kwabena Dwobeng Sergio and Carl Clottey in the studio of Onua Fm was fierce as both tried to defend their integrity.

Peter Kwabena Dwobeng Sergio hammered that lawyers of the Ghana National Gospel Music Award (NGMA) will take Carl Clottey on for making unsubstantiated allegations to defame the reputation of the organizers of NGMA.
On 28th of August 2021 inside Accra International Conference Center, the 2021 Ghana National Gospel Music Award (NGMA) will come off.
The event is aimed at celebrating top Ghanaian and international gospel artists for their contribution to the growth of gospel music in Ghana and the expansion of the kingdom business.
