Nigerian entertainment space has been thrown into a state of mourning after veteran singer, Olanrewaju Ganiu Fasasi aka Sound Sultan was reported dead.
A statement from his brother, Dr. Kayode Fasasi, revealed that Sound Sultan passed on Sunday, July 11, 2021,at the age of 44 after a battling Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.

Sound Sultan, born Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi on November 27, was a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, comedian and recording artist.
He was regarded as one of the pacesetters of modern hip hop music in Nigeria.
Sound Sultan is survived by his wife and three children.
