Decorated Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie aka Obidi has set social media buzzing after he stormed a funeral over the weekend to perform.
Ghanaian politician and businessman, Gabby Otchere-Darko over the weekends put his dad to eternal rest.
Gabby’s father, Dr. Joseph Felix Boateng Otchere-Darko’s final funeral rites was held on Saturday, July 3rd in an unnamed Catholic church where he probably fellowshipped when he was alive.
Apparently, Ghanaian artiste, Sarkodie was billed to perform at the funeral – Sark was supposed to deliver a tribute to the late Dr. Joseph Felix Boateng Otchere-Darko.
However, Sarkodie delivered his tribute in rap taking the mourners by surprise and the funeral took a new turn.
A woman first sang one of the popular Ghanaian gospel songs, ‘Oye’ and King Sark took over with his rap in a form of tribute for politician Gabby Otchere Darko’s late father.
Following Sark’s rendition, social media users are mostly commending him for his rapping prowess. They’re heaping tons of praises on Sarkodie.

Also, @jnnyarko205 also wrote, ‘the guy is dope 🔥’ and @zomi_hemaa wrote, ‘the highest 🙌🔥👏’
Meanwhile, there’s been Fix The Country demonstration and top musician, Sarkodie still hasn’t to say anything in support of that. Sark has not added his voice or throw his weight behind the youth for the worthy Fix The Country protest.
However, he was able to condemn the recent Ejura clash which took the lives of two Ghanaians and several others injured.
