The former chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Herbert Mensah is the latest to add his five cents to the ongoing fracas between the founder and leader of Lighthouse Chapel International Dag Heward-Mills and the Ashanti Hene.
According to him, people should stop fuelling the issue by passing obnoxious comments and taking up actions that would only escalate the issue.
Herbert says he does not condone what Dag said but he would blame the person who recorded it and released it. He believes that person has an agenda which is to cause havoc and chaos.

Herbert says Otumfuo is big and not a mere leader. He is responsible for protecting the Ashanti Kingdom, maintaining the legacy as the one and true custodian of the land.
According to him, the man is revered in every sense of the word and it should remained so, adding that unlike the president who is voted into power, the Otumfuo reigns until he dies so the monarch is well respected.
He asked people to stop the game of comparison because it is doing no one any good.

His comments come after the release of an audio where Dag Heward was heard slandering the King of the Ashanti Kingdom.
The man of God has apologised but Otumfuo has disregarded his apology, asking that he publicly do that.
Meanwhile, the youth in the kingdom gave him 48 hours to do so or else, they would burn down his churches in the region.
Dag Heward-Mills has not said anything since, all he said in his letter was for them to forgive him and not burn down his churches.
