Many Ghanaians are currently living in fear due to the increasing rate of crimes on our streets. Day in and out we hear of incidents that are not in accordance with the law and are so heartwrenching.
A week ago, a daylight robbery happened in Osu where some robbers attacked a forex bureau.
About four men on a motorbike overtook the forex, fired a warning shot in the air to disperse the people around whilst they attacked the forex.

Whilst two of the men waited on separates motorbike outside the forex, two others with guns entered the forex to carry out the operation.
They all took off after they secured an undisclosed amount of money from the forex bureau.
Luckily, an external CCTV camera captured the incident for further investigations.

According to reports, one of the boys involved in the robbery has been arrested.
This precedes the bullion van robbery which happened at Jamestown a few days ago and claimed the life of police officer Emmanuel Osei.
