The winner of Adu Safowaa‘s 2020 Atea Award for Golden Entrepreneur of the Year, amputee shoemaker Richard Asodji, has allegedly not received a pesewa since winning the award.
According to info from a close confidante, Richard has been abandoned with no help.
The amputee shoemaker won the award for the Golden Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2020 ATEA Awards.
The All Africa Entrepreneur Awards (ATEA) is organized by Aketesia Group, which is owned by the loudmouthed presenter Adu Safowaa.
Richard won the top award at the 2020 edition of the show, held at the Tomriek Hotel in East Legon.
As part of his honour, he was promised Ghc 5,000 to help his business.
The promise has however yet to be fulfiled. The amputee has allegedly been left on his own with no help from award organizers.
It’s also alleged that not even a call has been made to constantly check on his well being.
Adu Safowaa’s award, which honoured among others former President Kufour and Yvonne Nelson, is designed to honour and award business-minded personalities and Entrepreneurs both young and old across Africa who have made an impact in their field of endeavours.
Amputee Richard must have felt his life changing after winning that award but information suggests it’s not so.
It appears he remains mired in the same condition he was before winning the award – or even worse.
It is sad for Richard, but if this is true, it’s actually just what you can expect from a Ghanaian celebrity.
All flash in public but in private, nothing to show for all that bragging!
