Details – Kwabena Kwabena Allegedly Received Ghc 100,000 From NPP For Campaign Song and Lied About It

Musician Kwabena Kwabena allegedly received Ghc 100,000 from the NPP for composing a campaign song for the party in 2016.

This revelation was made by musician and political activist Kwame A Plus in response to an interview by Kwabena Kwabena in which he complained that the NPP has abandoned him after he helped them claim power.

According to A Plus, Kwabena Kwabena received Ghc 45,000 to compose the song, Ghc 25,000 to shoot a music video and Ghc 30,000 to promote the song.

In all, Kwabena Kwabena received Ghc 100,000 for composing ‘Vote Number 1’, which the NPP used in the 2016 elections and also in Nana’s re-election campaign in 2020.

A Plus’ expose comes after Kwabena Kwabena went to cry on Starr Fm that the NPP abandoned him after composing the song for them.

Kwabena Kwabena claimed he wasn’t paid a dime for his song.

“The song wasn’t sponsored nor paid for by anyone from the party, I did it out of the love for Nana Akufo-Addo who was the flagbearer. Though I wasn’t expecting anything, even God who created his word always needs us to show gratitude, that’s why he excepts us to worship him all the time,“ he told Nana Aba Anamoah on Starr Chat.

However, it seems his claims are false as A Plus took to social media to reveal.
