Castro Dies Today

Missing Ghanaian hiplife star Theophilus Tagoe, popularly known as Castro da Destroyer, will be legally declared dead today, June 8th 2021.

Castro and Janet Bandu got missing in Ada on July 7th 2014. In Ghana, a person can be legally declared dead 7 years after going missing.

At 12pm today, the duo were legally declared dead by a court in the country.

The declaration is in line with the Evidence Acts of Ghana, 1975, Section 3, which states that a person can only be declared legally dead after seven years by a court, where the person in question has not been seen or heard from in seven years despite diligent and persistent efforts to find him.

The legendary singer, known for hits such as ‘Toffee’, ‘Adonai’ and many more, went missing on a jet ski trip in Ada with Asamoah Gyan and friends.

He was with Video Vixen Janet Bandu when they both went missing.

Multiple attempts to find them has proven futile as the water has refused to give up their bodies.
