The Achimota Senior High School forced a female Rastafarian student to cut off her dreadlocks, the court case has revealed.
After the Human Rights Division of the Accra High Court ruled that the school had to admit two Rastafarian students with their hair intact, the father of one of the students revealed the shocking news.
According to Ras Nkrabea, father of Oheneba Nkrabea, one of the students, there was a female student who the school forced to trim her hair.

According to him, there were three students at Achimota School a few months back who were denied admission into the school because of their hair.
The school said they needed to trim their hair before being admitted.
They took the case to court and obtained a judgement on the case which was delivered yesterday.
The court ordered the school to admit the students.

Speaking after the court case, Ras Nkrabea revealed they stayed strong but one female student had to give in and trimmed her hair.
