What on earth will let one exchange precious gold with common Jalabia made from ordinary nylon?

Angry social media users are asking the above question after a video of a Ghanaian chief was seen happily exchanging gold for clothes.

The viral video captures the Ghanaian Chief exchanging his golden chain and other jewellery with some Arabians after his visit to an Arab country.

Exchanging pleasantries with his Arab partners, the chief showed gratitude for their acceptance by giving them his golden chain.

The Arabians in return gave the Chief a piece of Jalabia which is not worth the golden chain given out.
