Ghana’s local champions have missed out on nominations for the 2021 BET awards as expected.
Despite their delusions of grandeur, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale were showed their level once again as they failed to make any impact to receive a nomination for the biggest black only award show in the world.
And once again, the Nigerian top acts showed the difference between their levels and that of their Ghanaian counterparts as they landed their nominations.
Burna Boy and Wizkid were both nominated in the Best International Act category, a yearly ritual for those two international artistes.
Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz also made the list.
The 2021 BET awards returns with a live crowd on Sunday, June 27th at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
