To the shock of no one, the national security officer who was allegedly ‘sacked’ for leading the assault on journalist Caleb Kudah has received a new job.
Lieutenant Colonel Frank Agyemang was ‘sacked’ from the National Security Ministry after his conduct in the Kudah case was seen as dishonourable and was sent back to the Chief of Defence Staff for further investigations and appropriate actions to be taken.
Instead of any action being taken against him, he has reportedly been appointed as the new head of the notorious 64 Infantry Regiment of the Ghana Armed Forces.
According to a report by investigative journalist Manasseh Azure, Agyemang is the new commanding officer of the regiment.
Instead of being punished for his conduct, Agyeman has seemingly been promoted.
The party blockhead was the leader of the National Security team who arrested, tortured and interrogated Citi Fm journalist Caleb Kudah after they grabbed him at the premises of the Ministry attempting to take photos.
A statement released by the Ministry after the public outcry over the incident said Agyeman had been relieved of his duties as well as 3 other police officers.
However instead of further investigations being carried out, he’s now received a bigger and better job.
