The Miracle Schools in Sunyani has released a statement addressing the distressing news of the death of a 14-year old student in the school.

The statement seeks to clear some misconceptions out there about the suicide, stating what school authorities believe happened.

According to the statement, the student was found hanging in the dining hall on the evening of Monday, May 17th, at around 7:30pm.

The school noted her cause of death is unclear and said they are cooperating with authorities to get to the bottom of the matter.
