On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, yesterday, the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra sent a message of peace to the National Chief Imam, His Eminence Sheikh Osuman Sharubutu.
The message echoed the idea of smoking the peace pipe with Muslims in the country and living together as one people serving one God and One Allah.
This message becomes necessary because in recent times, the headmistress of Wesley Girls Senior High School was fingered in public for refusing to allow Muslim student partake in the annual holy fast.
The Catholic Archdiocese took to Facebook to share a picture with the Chief Imam with the caption, “Peace…One God…One Allah…One People”.
