On Saturday night, Ghanaians were promised a blockbuster United Showbiz show featuring friends and enemies of Akuapem Poloo – DKB, the blogger those called celebs and Afia Schwarzenegger.
Instead we were treated to close to three hours of the rude and prickly Halifax Ansah Addo lobbing shades and outright insults at DKB whilst providing little intelligent analysis.
The show was bound to be a disappointment from the beginning, when Nana Ama Mcbrown failed to turn up to host her own show and Abeiku Santana had to fill in for her.

That’s before we get to Afia Schwar failing to turn up, meaning DKB, Halifax and regular panelist Arnold Asamoah Baidoo had to carry the entire show on their own – needless to say it didn’t go well.
The most exciting part of the night came when Halifax said DKB had a big head but small sense. In response to a submission from DKB, Halifax said his submission shows someone with ‘BHSS’.
When Arnold asked him what that meant, he said it means “big head, small sense,”
DKB immediately got offended and threatened to walkout out of the show, forcing Halifax to apologize.
Watch the exchange below…
Halifax’s behaviour during this submission, insulting DKB and then pretending not to have insulted him, shows someone who actually possesses little sense himself.
As a journalist, he should have staked out a position and defended it with facts, something Arnold regularly does on the same show.
If he had no facts too and wanted to insult DKB, he should have gone ahead and done it in a straightforward manner and stood his ground. It was completely cowardly to throw shade in that manner and then attempt to deny when everyone with ears could see who the insult was directed at.
If DKB has a big head, which is undeniable, Halifax is the one with little sense. Perhaps the new syndrome should be ‘PPSS’ – pompous personality, small sense.
