Sarkodie Pleads With The Law To Pardon Akuapem Poloo For The Sake Of Her Son

#FreeAkuapemPoloo is trending on social media after the court convicted Ghanaian actress Rosemond Alade Brown aka Akuapem Poloo on Wednesday.

The actress could face a maximum jail term of three years or a hefty fine for indecent exposure on social media in front of a minor.

Akuapem Poloo pleaded guilty to all charges leveled against her and the Accra Circuit Court convicted her and ordered for a pregnancy test from her before her sentencing on Friday, April, 2021.

She was remanded into police custody for her to be sent to any government hospital for a pregnancy test in accordance with the law.

Many have taken to social media to plead on her behalf and Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie is one of them.

The rapper begged that the law be soft on Akuapem Poloo for the sake of her son.

He tweeted; I think it’s a little harsh to separate a child from the mum just because of pictures taken….would want to plead with the law to pardon our sister…#FreeAkuapemPoloo
