A 13-year old boy whose family successfully raised $30,000 for a brain tumour surgery, has died.
Michael Kofi Asiamah trended all over after news of his surgery came out with social media users contributing to his GoFundMe. Many celebrities shared the appeal for funds including Sarkodie, helping to raise the total in record time.

Michael underwent his surgery 3 days ago and whilst it looked like all was well, things took a turn for the worse today.
His mother has taken to social media to announce that Michael suddenly passed away today.

According to her, he was looking good after the surgery and everything looked fine, but then he tragically passed away very suddenly.
Social media is immensely saddened over his passing. May he rest in peace.
