The school which awarded Sonnie Badu all the degrees he has been flaunting on social media has broken their silence on the issue.
The Trinity International University of Ambassadors in a statement has responded to critics claiming the school is not accredited and that Sonnie’s Badu’s degrees are fake.

According to the school, it’s not by force for a University in the United States to be an accredited institution.
“In the United States, the U.S Department of Education states that accreditation itself is a voluntary process. There is no mandate by federal law for a school, college or university to be accredited, to be recognized. It is a standard but not the rule,” the statement read.
This comes after an investigation was carried out by a social media user named Manuel who thoroughly debunked Sonnie Badu’s claim that he received 3 degrees in 4 months.
Manuel also contacted the Council for Higher Education Accreditation which made it clear that Trinity University is not accredited.
Trinity however claims in their statement that they are a legitimate religious, not academic, institution; and they have the mandate to award degrees to anyone they deem fit.
