Following the death of former President Jerry John Rawlings, a woman identified as Abigail Mawutor surfaced to cause a stir.

Abigail Mawutor alleged that Rawlings was her biological father but the family has sidelined her.

Abigail Mawutor stormed the funeral of Rawlings wanting to go and sit with the family and be treated as a true daughter of Rawlings.

In the midst of the controversy, Abigail Mawutor disclosed that veteran Ghanaian actress Maame Dokono is aware of her as a daughter of former President Jerry John Rawlings.

She noted that she went to seek help from Maame Dokono to reach her father but she rather gave her transportation to travel and stay in hiding over the fear of being assassinated.

Reacting to the claim, Maame Dokono has said that she doesn’t know Abigail Mawutor from anywhere.

According to her, Abigail Mawutor’s story is not true.

Maame Dokono revealed in an interview on Kingdom FM that she is friends with Rawlings’ wife, Nana Konadu so she would not do anything to hurt the family.
