DKB is a disgrace to comedy. The self-proclaimed king of Ghanaian comedy is the king of dry and offensive jokes with no brain cells behind their construction.
The comedian, a term I use loosely, has come under fire from social media users after a very offensive skit on the Achimota Rastafarian students brouhaha.

DKB shared a poorly written, acted and edited skit making fun of the issue. In the skit, Rastafarians visit the Achimota school head, played by DKB, threaten him to admit the student with knives and then gave him marijuana to smoke.
Ghanaians rightly called out DKB for his offensive and highly unintelligent attempt at comedy as an attempt to stereotype Rastafarians and incite hatred against them. The big-headed brute then got angry and replied with insults defending his so-called comedic art.
In his response, the best he could do was to lean back into offensive stereotypes, claiming Jamaicans are highly violent and thus Rastafarians are also highly violent weed smokers.
DKB exposes his low intellect in his response even more than his shoddy attempt at comedy did.

When you watch truly great comics, the likes of George Carlin, Eddie Murphy, Dave Chapelle or any of a million foreign comics we could name, they are definitely offensive in their routines. However, they offend as a satirical tool to tell stories about the underlying problems in society.
Even KSM does this down here. DKB is just someone who throws stereotypes and insults together into a toxic cocktail and calls it ‘comedy’.
It’s a sad state of affairs that such a man calls himself the king of Ghana’s comedy.
