Ghanaian dancehall musician Samini has waded into the ongoing debate about allowing Rastafarians to have their locks in schools.
He has argued that locks should be allowed in schools for fashion but not on Religion grounds.

According to Samini, allowing Rastafarians the right to hold their locks in schools is a slippery slop for others to also claim their rights.
The musician has noted that ‘rules are rules’, after one signs up to be part of a particular group, they abide by their rules.

His submission comes after Achimota School has denied some students admission because of their dreadlocks which they keep in regards to their religion.
