An account has mysteriously sprung up on Instagram with the sole purpose of exposing pastors who use church money to fund their lavish lifestyle.
It is unclear who is behind the account but since it surfaced, some big names in the gospel circles have been poked at and the account has grown from 6 to over 100k followers in a matter of days.
Rumor has it that a young man by name Ben Kirby is behind the account, @PreacherzNSneakers and it began after he spotted a gospel musician rocking the expensive Yeezy Boost sneakers from Kanye West.
Washington Post reports that Kirby has been seriously questioning various church leaders who have become wealthy by their profession – he also posed the question, how far is too far when it comes to accepting cash from congregants who, more often than not, are not wealthy?
