The precedent has been set and rastafarians can now freely receive admission into senior high schools without having to cut down their hair.

After Achimota SHS denied two Rastafarians admission unless they cut their hair, the Ghana Education Service (GES) came out to clarify that students can receive admission with their long hair so long as they can prove they are Rastafarians.
That is the new norm and we can see it in practice as Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School (OKESS) in Kumasi has admitted a new Rastafarian student.
The young boy went to the school in his bushy hair and was admitted with no issues.
