Dancehall 1Gad Stonebwoy Burninton has hit out at Achimota School for discriminating against two Rastafarian students who gained admission to the school through the Computer School Placement System.
On Friday, the school denied admission to two students for sporting dreadlocks, which is a requirement in the Rastafarian religion.
The parents of one of the students came out to complain about being denied admission and said the school was discriminating against Rastafarians. He also threatened to sue.
Dancehall star Stonebwoy, who keeps his hair long himself, has interjected into the conversation.
In a tweet on social media, Stonebwoy asks what harm it causes to admit students with dreadlocks.

“May I ask please, what harm does it cause a school from admitting students because of their hair style as Rastafarians?” he posted on Twitter.
Great question indeed. There is no good answer apart from some vague things about rules and regulations.
